Best practice to track AJO Offer Decisioning, how are you monitoring AJO Offer Decisioning without relying on Query Service? (personalised vs non-personalised KPIs)

Hello everyone,

 

We’ve just activated Adobe Journey Optimizer – Offer Decisioning. We also have Adobe Analytics and Customer Journey Analytics, Adobe Target license. 

 

Our website already runs Adobe Experience Platform Web SDK (alloy.js) for Target and AJO personalization, and we still surface some KPIs in GA4 for continuity. Offers are delivered via the JSON (decision scope per banner / carousel slot).

 

Our goal is to create a single dashboard that answers:

  1. How many impressions & clicks did each offer/activity receive?

  2. Does the personalized variation outperform the default?

  3. What’s the downstream purchase rate / revenue for visitors who clicked?

  4. Optional: keep a light view of clicks in GA4 while we migrate reporting to Adobe.

I looked at a few Experience League threads but didn’t see an end-to-end monitoring solution.

 

Basically, what we want to measure :

Questions for anyone who’s solved this:

  1. Tooling – Which product(s) did you use on for day-to-day reporting?
    Adobe Analytics via Edge Bridge? Customer Journey Analytics? PowerBI via CDC? or Something else?

  2. Event design – Are you emitting Web SDK decisioning.propositionDisplay / …Interact events, or another schema?

  3. Variable mapping / KPIs

    • How did you map “personalized Y/N”, “offer ID”, “activity ID” etc. into AA/CJA?

    • Which calculated metrics or visualizations helped you to see uplift quickly?

Any examples or high-level architecture diagrams would be hugely appreciated,
