Looking to use Background Images

Hi, we are looking to use background images in our email design and we are wondering how they are coded using images from AEM.

@RobertPC4 You can try adding the AEM asset url  in HTML code as background-image

Hi Anuhya-Y, 

Thank you for your response! My next question would be how do I get the full url for my background image from AEM? I only see the Share-link which appears to be only a reference of the image within AEM platform.

It seems you have received the image as a shared link via Brand Portal of AEM Assets. This shared link is usually valid for 7 days, so it is not advisable to use it as a background image in an email.

Please request the AEM team to provide the original path of the image to use it as a background image in the email template
