Multiple Level Undo (ctrl-z) in XML Editor

Has anyone else noticed problems with ctrl-z undo, especially assuming it is a multiple-level undo in the web-based XML Editor? Instead of undoing actions in order, it seems to do a complete undo-of-everything-you-did-in-the-file.

Could you please confirm the Guides version in which you are experiencing this issue?
