How to include/debug javascript in aem guides

Hi all, 
I am trying to include custom javascript in the aem guides (DITA topic) but my changes are not getting reflected. 
Also Is there anyway we can debug javascript written by us that we have included to generate PDF. This is related to Native PDF publishing

Hi @user05316 Which version of AEM guides do you use? Have you tried the download temporary HTML files option in output preset settings, that generates HTML files while generating the native PDF output.
