We wanted to track form submits on our site via a direct call, since CSS selectors only track on click, whereas a direct call will track successes. We asked our development team to send a direct call rule to _satellite.track, confirming that the form submit was successful.
The direct call rules works with most browsers, but will not capture the rule with any IOS based browsers. We found this by tying the adobe data to our database the form submit info was being to, and saw that the IOS based form submits were not tracking in Adobe Analytics.
Has anyone else run into this issue? Is there something specific to IOS based browsers that would be causing issues with direct call rules?
erivce63680838, DCR rules can't be dependent on operating system as this is just a JS function. Double check in the browser console that the DCR is called. It's likely the function that calls the DCR is not working properly.
