XML Encoding

Hi,

Can I change the encoding of the XML that my XDP produces? I need it to confirm to "ISO-8859-1". Can this be achieved and how?

Thanks

You can set the XML encoding in the submit button properties.

Paul,

Is there any other way using scripting? The reason I ask is because the form data gets extracted from the "Manage form data" button?

Paul,

The encoding I need is not in the list of encodings. I created a test file and manually went into the XML to change it. However, it defaults to UTF-8. I attached my form to this link

If you can shed light it would be great.

This is not my area of expertise so I do not know how to get the other encodings. If I do a search in the help for textEncoding it seems to indicate that you cannot have Acrobat submit ISO-8859 encodings.
