return value from mailto?

Hi all,

when I submit a form for sending as an email, mailto: ist used, which will bring up my Outlook client (on my system). I can now send or just close the client.

Is there a way to know, say in the postSubmit event, if the email was really sent or sending was cancelled?

No, not that I am aware of.

Basically the email script hands over the emailling process to your email client (in this case Outlook). There is no further communication between Acrobat/Reader and the email client.
