"live cycle designer has stopped working"

I have CS4. I was starting to use Acrobat to design some forms. Went ok, but needed to edit the forms. Now when I start live cycle designer, it crashes and says "Live cycle designer has stopped working."

One forum said to delete microsft visual (something). I did that, but it still doesn't work. OS is vista business on a laptop (well specc'd). Uninstalling nad re-installing failed to help.

WHat now?

THanks.

Hi,

You need to remove a folder from the program folder. Screenshots here: Re: Designer ES 8.2.1.3144 crashes

Hope that works,

Niall

Hey I have the Adobe Livecycle ES4. Whenever I start the software, it crashes and it says the program stopped working, windows is looking for a solution. What to do? I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling again

Hi,

try to delete the Designer folder under your user profile.

C:/users/%username%/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Designer

It will be recreated next time you run Designer.
