Null Pointer Error when using Java Quickstart code

I don't know what has happened, because this was working fine just the other day. I'm using this code:

to create a user. When the function is called, LiveCycle throws this error:

Any idea what could cause this? It was working fine just a few days ago. I restarted LiveCycle to no avail.

Can you provide complete logs?

I figured it out. The canonical name has to be unique.
