Minimum and Initial Values

What is the difference between these two? If I set a subform to an initial of 3 instances,  isn't that the same as a minimum of 3 instances?  Are the Minimum and Initial properties duplicitous?

Hi,

There are slight differences. On one hand if you use initial count to 3 OR the minimum count to 3; then when you open the form there will be three instances.

When you use initial count, the user can delete instances to less than the initial count. Whereas if you use minimum count, the user cannot delete below the minimum.

Typically you might use minimum count = 1 and initial count = 3.
