I can't get text to flow in two-page form in live cycle

I've spent most of the day reading descriptions, and watching videos, but I am unable to get my form to work like it should. I have a form someone else created that I need to modify so that certain text boxes will expand. I've only been able to get the first two text fields to expand and I can only get the first one to properly push down the content immediately following the expandable text field. I have tried wrapping fields and objects individually as "positioned" subforms, then wrapping them into "flowed" subforms based on what I've read. But, nothing has worked. I would appreciate a simple, straighforward description as I am inexperienced in using subforms. Thank you in advance.

Hi,

I have made all the subforms flowed and it seems to work as I would expect.  Here is my version https://sites.google.com/site/livecycledesignercookbooks/home/Employee%20Relations%20Worksheet_GD_07...

Hope it helps

Hi

Sounds like you should have everything flowed.  Can you post a link to the form, and we can have a look.

Hi,

make sure that every parent object of an expandable text field is flowed and allows page breaks.

Here's a simple hierarchy that describes the settings:

form

     masterpages

          masterpage

page (flowed / allow page breaks)

subform (flowed / allow page breaks)

text field (expandable / allow page breaks only if length can be more than one page)

               ...

Thank you for the offer. I'm fumbling my way through this, but there is still too much I don't know. I hope I haven't messed up the form too much. Here it is: https://workspaces.acrobat.com/?d=XqfBpvr21ifvgen2clcOmA

Hi,

I can't get to your form, I think you need to publish the form within Workspaces so others can get to it.

I believe I uploaded the file correctly this time. This should be the link. I appreciate any help you can offer.

Bruce,

Thank you. This now works exactly as intended! I just realized that I left off the bottom half of page 2. I'm going to add it to the version you redid for me. I hope I don't mess anything up. I'll let you know. But, in the meantime - thank you very much!
