I'm able to create a data connection to an XML with a pulldown box. Works fine in LiveCycle - when the bound pulldown is selected it's populated with the XML in the PDF preview. The problem is when the form is opened in Adobe reader, click on the pulldown and nothing appears. Probably a simple fix but I have no idea. I have enable Extended Features so that's not the problem....Thanks!

Hi,

The problem is that unless the Reader Extensions have been applied through LC Reader Extensions ES2, then data connections do not work in Reader.

A summary of the main features that are available/restricted depending on what the user has (Acrobat/Reader), whether the form is Reader Enabled, and how the form was Reader Enabled:

Can you hard wire the data into the form?

Hope that helps,

Niall
