I have designed a fillable form and included a save button function with the following javascript app.ExecMenuItem("SaveAs");
When I preview the form in Acrobat / Reader and extend the rights, I click the save button and it prompts me to save it as an xml file. What I want the user to be able to do is save my form as a complete PDF with their saved data so that they do not have to import tehir xml data.
The odd thing is that when I test the button in Livecycle preview mode and save a copy it does exactly what I want it to do and I can re-open the saved form with the data completed.
Can anyone help with fixing this in Reader / Acrobat?
