Can the Assembler service on the Forms module flatten a static form

Yes, Assembler can flatten static forms.  Assembler will call the proper backend library (Gibson) to generate a flattened version of the form.

If the form is dynamic Assembler will attempt to call LiveCycle Output to render a flat version of the form.  In this case, if Output is not installed you will get an error.
