Edit schema usecase not working

Hello team,

For some reason this usecase https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/campaign-classic/using/automating-with-workflows/use-cases/da... is not working for me.  I'm able to achieve the first step Step 1: Calculating the aggregate result. The first query has all the recipients, the second query has the aggregate of the creation date. However the next step Step 2: Linking the recipients and the aggregation function result is not working for me. I'm unable to join the results of the previous queries.It throws an error. Can you please help.
