Capturing the username in a rendered PDF using JavaScript/FormCalc

Hi,

I'm looking for a way to capture the windows username/login from inside a rendered PDF using JavaScript or FormCalc.

I know it should be near impossible to do this in a browser because of the built-in safeties and blocks straight into JavaScript, but I was hoping it's different for a PDF.

Is this possible, or isn't it?

Thanks in advance,

Frederik-Jan

In short, this object (Identity object in Acrobat JavaScript) cannot be accessed from a script in a PDF but it could be accessed from a privileged context.
