Adding data to specific lines in a multiple row subform - Adobe LiveCycle 04-03-2009
Dear,I've got an Enterprise Service that retrieves Materials, I created a SubForm (that can grow dynamically, it already does this) to list all the items with some detail fields.Retrieving one item is no problem, the first instance of the subform will be created and the data will be filled in. Using this code :var nCount = 0;var nLimit = 10; for(var nItemCount in oItems){ _sf_Row.addInstance(1); for(var nItemNode in oItems[nItemCount]) { if (nItemNode == "MATNR") { sf_Row.txt_Matnr.rawValue = oI...

Capturing the username in a rendered PDF using JavaScript/FormCalc - Adobe LiveCycle 18-02-2009
Hi,I'm looking for a way to capture the windows username/login from inside a rendered PDF using JavaScript or FormCalc.I know it should be near impossible to do this in a browser because of the built-in safeties and blocks straight into JavaScript, but I was hoping it's different for a PDF.Is this possible, or isn't it?Thanks in advance,Frederik-Jan

Removing a line in a table at runtime - Adobe LiveCycle 29-12-2008
Dear,In the current setup I'm using a table with a fixed amount of lines (6) to display some extra data per item line. I can't get this extra data in a table so I'm retrieving the data from six separate nodes from my data.Normally you'd bind the table to a table in the data and then the table would grow/shrink depending on the amount of lines. Now however I need to effectively hide the entire row. When I use JavaScript to put the presence of the entire row to 'hidden' the row becomes invisible, ...

Re: Which event for specific validation (Javascript) - Adobe LiveCycle 18-09-2008
The Exit event would be the correct answer.

Re: Which Event can I use in this situation? Ignore previous topic with same title! - Adobe LiveCycle 18-09-2008
In the change event of your first checkbox put this line.xfa.form.PAGE2.otherCheckbox.execEvent('change');This will trigger the change event of your other checkbox. You can use this to trigger any event of any control you have on any page as well.

Which event for specific validation (Javascript) - Adobe LiveCycle 18-09-2008
Dear,I'm building some validations in my form, using javascript.I staretd with using the Validate event however that is called every time someone does basically anything on the form. It's too global and to non-discriminating.I have 6 particular fields where I do checks on the values entered there, but if I use the Validate event I can only work in a couple of them. I could use IFs and save all the values in hidden fields and then check on every validate which one of them changed, but this would ...

Re: Response from webservice : object aggregate - Adobe LiveCycle 18-09-2008
The problem apparently was the namespace, removing this and I could use the normal way of retrieving data from XML files.

Response from webservice : object aggregate - Adobe LiveCycle 16-09-2008
Dear,I have an Interactive Form with a ton of data on it. I'm using a Web Service to post this data to a system, the return value is always 1 for testing purposes.Using SoapUI I can see and test the service. The return is put like this with constants (so it's always this, never different for testing purposes) : Test return message 1 I call the webservice in my form with a button with this code :var response = SOAP.request ({cURL: "http://host:port/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=:BS_TIM...

Re: Dynamically setting button caption from Data Source using JavaScript - Adobe LiveCycle 03-09-2008
Setting/Retrieving the button name works, thanks! I'm still not sure on how to retrieve data however. With data I mean the fields that are available under the Data View palette. (bottom left corner, next to Hierarchy for me)
