Can I send data as a bucket through Custom Actions

Avatar

Level 1

Hey guys,

I've created a custom action that calls an internal API but said API can't handle data sent as a stream, so I was wondering if its possible to aggregated a few clients and send the data as a bucket

Hi @MuriloFe1 ,

As far as I know, Custom Actions in Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) are used to send data from a journey or campaign to external communication channels or systems.

From what I understand, you can send a collection of messages together using a Custom Action — though there are some limitations depending on how the journey is set up and how the payload is structured.

You may want to take a look at the following documentation, which explains how collections work within journeys and how to configure custom actions:

https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/journey-optimizer/using/orchestrate-journeys/journey-use-...

https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/journey-optimizer/using/configure-journeys/action-journey...

I hope this helps!

Kind regards,
Parvesh
