Rule Revision - Revert back to production state

Avatar

Level 3

Hi,

We made a few changes to existing rules for testing purposes.

We want to revert these rules back to reflect what's in production.

When we build a new library and add changed resources, Launch is going to add all the changed rules.

We want avoid anyone accidentally publishing the changed rules that aren't meant to be live.

Any suggestions?

What you are requesting is not currently part of the product. It looks like someone may have already submitted an idea for our product team to implement this feature. Please review the idea here and either up vote it or submit your own idea if you don't feel this captures the needed functionality.

I'm struggling with this too. Coming from Google Tag Manager, I'm accustom to maintaining many working container workspaces. Changes in one workspace don't affect the other workspaces unless they are published, at which time you'll be prompted to merge the new changes into any unpublished workspaces. So when I create a library in Adobe Launch, it's a little confusing to me that it can inherit unpublished changes. I've found myself wanting for the same thing that @winstonl3651471 has asked for here with a "revert to production" button or something similar.

Were you able to solve this issue? If so, would you mind posting the solution so others that find this thread have the answer?

Unfortunately, this still is a manual process.
