Re: Can't get Custom Event to work on rule zach_shearer - Adobe Experience Platform Launch
@thomasm46556898 thanks for coming back to answer the question for the community. No rush on this but, if you have the time, I'd like to hear a little more about your consent setup. The cookie consent manager that I work with instructs to create suppression conditions for rules based on the consent provided by the user, e.g., block advertising-associated tags when they elect for functional trackers only.

Re: Activity Reporting - Get Conversion and Impression Data by Date zach_shearer - Adobe Target
Thanks @Amelia_Waliany . Your developers can see the the process that I followed with my incredibly messy Python script. If it is helpful, I can provide the contents of the supporting functions. In short, a report segmented by day should be available in the user interface. def main(): # Get array of date ranges to query the API with. dateRange = create_date_range_array(startDate, endDate) # Testing # print(dateRange) # Create list to store reports from the API reportsArray = [] # Loop through da...

Activity Reporting - Get Conversion and Impression Data by Date zach_shearer - Adobe Target
Currently it is not possible to add a date or timeframe dimension to a report in Adobe Target when one doesn't have access to Analytics for Target. See the following forum thread for reference: https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-target-questions/activity-reporting-get-conversion-and-impression-data-by-date/qaq-p/378938/comment-id/4400#M4399 I'd like to request that it be possible to segment activity reporting by hour, day, week, month, quarter, year, and date. I'm probably mi...

Re: Activity Reporting - Get Conversion and Impression Da... zach_shearer - Adobe Target
Thanks for the options, @ryanr701. It's a little disappointing to hear that there isn't a user interface option to download by date. Is there some way to submit this as a requested feature? I'll take a look at the API options. I do already have a API connection setup so most of the work is done there.

Activity Reporting - Get Conversion and Impression Data by Date zach_shearer - Adobe Target
I'm reviewing the results of a recent A/B test. I've selected by date range, changed the reporting methodology to visits, and exported the resulting data to CSV. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find a method to download the data by date. Is this not possible with Adobe Target? Note that I do not use Adobe Analytics. This seems like a fairly basic functionality that I'm likely just missing. I've searched this forum and the documentation and I can't find anything about exporting the data by date.

Re: Category Affinity across more than one attribute zach_shearer - Adobe Target
I'm curious to see the responses to this question. I'm thinking that should you need a "multi-faceted" category affinity, you'll probably be recommended to get Adobe Target Premium and use the Recommendations functionality there. Subscribed!

Re: Adobe Target - Forms Experience - Click Tracking - Mb... zach_shearer - Adobe Target
To clarify for all that read this in the future. @nzchris was correct. My mistake was using the "Clicked on mbox" option. By the time the user clicks, my custom mbox hadn't been created yet, the click was the action to create the mbox. I switched to using "viewed an mbox

Adobe Target - Forms Experience - Click Tracking - Mbox Event is Sent but Metrics Aren't Counting zach_shearer - Adobe Target
I have a forms experience setup on me homepage using the global mbox. I've setup click tracking but I'm not seeing the metrics aggregate in reporting. I have a backup metric that counts pageviews of the pages where the links go. So I know users are seeing these pages but the clicks aren't registering as I would expect. See below for more details. I'm tracking clicks using the following script (there are five buttons across five image carousel slides). // Adobe Target Tracking document.querySelec...

Re: Will Adobe Target work in Safari one day? zach_shearer - Adobe Target
@nickolaslago , can you clarify what you are referring to here? Is it building experiences in the Adobe Target Visual Experience Composer or are you referring to Apple's Internet Tracking Protection (ITP) and its interaction with some of the tracking mechanisms that Adobe Target relies on? https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/target/using/implement-target/before-implement/privacy/apple-itp-2x.html

Re: Rule Revision - Revert back to production state zach_shearer - Adobe Experience Platform Launch
I'm struggling with this too. Coming from Google Tag Manager, I'm accustom to maintaining many working container workspaces. Changes in one workspace don't affect the other workspaces unless they are published, at which time you'll be prompted to merge the new changes into any unpublished workspaces. So when I create a library in Adobe Launch, it's a little confusing to me that it can inherit unpublished changes. I've found myself wanting for the same thing that @winstonl3651471 has asked for he...

Re: Adobe Target - Category Affinity Algorithm - Multiple... zach_shearer - Adobe Target
I did do some testing with this. When I load Target, an empty value is sent as a user.categoryId so that's why you'll see it as an entry. Here are the steps for a quick test. 1. Load the homepage with the mboxtrace parameters in an incognito window.2. Push an event including the user.categoryId parameter with multiple, comma-separated values to Adobe Target using the console--see code below. adobe.target.trackEvent({ "mbox": "target-global-mbox", "params": { "user.categoryId": "one,two,three,fou...

Adobe Target - Category Affinity Algorithm - Multiple Values zach_shearer - Adobe Target
Does anyone know how the Adobe Target category affinity algorithm treats multiple values passed to the user.categoryId mbox parameter? Let’s say that I have the following journey. Each entry includes the following:{Page Sequence Number}: [Value passed in user.categoryId mbox parameter] (Page context, I.e. what purpose it serves in the journey)Are all categories included in the first page given 10 points?Page 1: [“business unit 1”, “business unit 2", “business unit 3”] (A hub page with all multip...

Adobe Target - Profile Parameters - Passed on Page Bottom Event - Proper Method? zach_shearer - Adobe Experience Platform Launch
We load Adobe Target using Adobe Launch, which we have configured to load synchronously. Currently, my setup for Adobe Target looks like this:  You can see that we:reach out to a Demandbase APIload targetadd the parameters to the mboxfire the mboxand then send information about the target campaign to the dataLayer. My intent is to pass a value for user.categoryId. The trouble is, the meta tag on the page that holds that value loads after my Launch container does. Here is an excerpt to illustrate...

It doesn't perfectly answer your question but I found adding the following script as a browser bookmark was helpful as it allowed me to quickly exit "QA" mode while testing. javascript: (function () { if (window.location.href.indexOf('?') != -1) { var parts = window.location.href.split('at_preview_token', 2); if (parts.length > 1) { window.location.href = parts[0].concat('at_preview_token='); } else { window.location.href = window.location.href.concat("&at_preview_token=") } } else { windo...

Thanks Gauresh. I believe you've provided the correct answer. Do you know where in the documentation they mention that contains allows a case-insensitive match?

Experience Success Metrics - "Viewed a Page" - URL is - Case Sensitivity zach_shearer - Adobe Target
I have the following setup for my success metric. My question is, does Adobe target normalize URLs for success metrics? Unfortunately, I have to plan for a lower and a title-case URL. Do I need to create two success metrics, one for each case? I didn't see a regular expression option.https://www.google.com/pharmaceutical-distribution/generic-drugs/https://www.google.com/Pharmaceutical-Distribution/Generic-Drugs/
