Welcome to all the new members who joined this month! Weâre excited to have you in the Adobe AEM Communityđ. Whether youâre brand new or have been here a while, this space is all about learning, sharing, and connecting with peers who get what you do every day.
In a world where so much is automated and AI-driven, this space is different â itâs built on humans helping humans. Every question asked, every tip shared, every reply left here makes a real difference.
If youâre new, this is your first touchpoint â and weâre truly glad youâre here. Think of this thread as a friendly cafĂ© table where you can pull up a chair, say hi, and get to know others who âgetâ what you do. To get started, share:
And give us your answer to this month's Ice Breaker question for all to kick things off:
đWhatâs the one AEM feature you canât imagine your workday without?
âš If youâre already part of the community, jump in too â share a tip, answer a question, or just welcome someone new. Every reply makes this space more valuable for everyone.
We are assigning veteran SMEs in a round-robin fashion, and they will be your primary point of contact for any operational or community-related issues.

Hi everyone,
Iâm Kautuk Sahni, and I am managing the AEM and WF community in Adobe. Iâve been with Adobe for nearly 13 years, starting my journey as a Software Engineer before moving into community management. Over the years, Iâve had the privilege of supporting product communities, and Iâm truly excited to now work with this amazing group. Outside of work, Iâm a big sports enthusiast (Tennis is my favorite!) and also love cooking and exploring new cuisines. So if youâve got a favorite recipe, feel free to share â Iâm always up for trying something new.
Iâm really looking forward to connecting with you all and helping this community grow into an even more engaging, supportive space. Please donât hesitate to reach out anytime. Iâm here to listen, learn, and support.
Hi, I am Suhail. I am currently working on a startup company where I am required to learn about AEM for upcoming projects. As resources for AEM development are limited and not beginner-friendly it is pretty confusing to learn. Please guide me to master AEM from scratch.
Hi Suhail, welcome to the community! đ
Totally hear you, AEM can feel overwhelming at first since the documentation and resources are pretty scattered. A good starting point is the this community, Experience League tutorials, and AEM documentation. Iâd also recommend checking out the blogs and questions here; lots of members have shared practical tips that are easier to follow than official docs. And of course, donât hesitate to post your specific questions: youâll find the community very helpful in guiding you step by step.
Looking forward to seeing your journey grow from beginner to expert!
Hi, I am Vijaya. I am currently in a training for Adobe AEM where I am required to learn about AEM for upcoming projects. As resources for AEM development are limited and not beginner-friendly it is pretty confusing to learn. Please guide me to master AEM from scratch. The resources which will be helpful for us to follow and master in adobe aem.
Hi @Vijaya_SriPo, welcome to the community! đ
Itâs completely normal to feel overwhelmed at the start. AEM has a lot to learn, and beginner-friendly resources can be hard to find. Engaging with the community here, asking questions, and following best practices from experienced AEM developers can accelerate your learning. Keep building small components and experimenting.

I'm Mary Rader. I live in Lake County, Illinois, just north of Chicago and work for an incentive travel company in Florida. I started doing graphic design as the owner of a print shop and then sold the shop and started working for a client. I learned page layout on a Mac with Pagemaker, then used Publisher. I'm re-creating my templates in Adobe Express. I've been working in Express for a month, a couple hours a day. This is a good way to learn, as I've been asked to create Linkedin posts, an invoice, a contract, several e-flyers, and a Christmas card. I appreciate the quality of typefaces, graphic elements, and photos available in Adobe. I am disappointed that I can't flow text from a column on one page to a column on another page, but maybe someday this feature will be added.
@MK1922, welcome! đ
Itâs great to hear about your background and how youâre diving into Adobe Express, sounds like youâre getting lots of hands-on experience. Just to note, this community is focused on AEM, so for questions and discussions about Adobe Express, the best place to connect would be the Adobe Express Community.
Youâll find people there sharing tips, templates, and workarounds that might help with things like flowing text across pages or other layout questions.

Hi everyone, I'm Aram. Currently I work as a freelancer at Upwork and one of my main interests is developing scripts and plugins for Adobe applications automation. Recently I published a script in Adobe Marketplace and I'm going to invest more time in that field. Prior to freelancing, I have worked as a SQA engineer for 6+ years (Python, PyQt, Bash). I'm completely new to this platform. I'll get familiar to its activities but frankly said I'm unsure how good fit I am.
hi @AramPa, welcome to the community! Your background is really strong; developing automation scripts and plugins for Adobe apps is a niche, and your mix of SQA and Python experience will definitely come in handy. Even if youâre new to this platform, youâre absolutely a great fit here, especially since AEM and Adobeâs ecosystem increasingly rely on developers, automation, and integration.
What kind of automation scripts have you built so far or plan to explore next?
Thank you for your response.
I have created many scripts and panels for Adobe Acrobat, After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro. The languages and frameworks used include ExtendScript, UXP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and C++ (in fewer cases).
The different software solutions were designed for various purposes, such as order processing for e-commerce web stores, publication-related automations, plugins for motion designers, integrating with external service APIs (AWS, DropBox, Google Sheets) and many others.
