We have user groups with specific permissions on site content. But we want the users to be able to "start" a specific workflow. Since we restricted permissions, the user is unable to see the "start workflow" option on the edit mode of a page.
Which exact permission governs the showing of "start workflow" option?
Thanks

Nevermind, /etc/workflow is the node. Works for now
Hi,
Can you please try adding "workflow-users" user group to your custom user group.
It should be working, its worked for us.
Hope this helps!
Thanks!

Ganesh,
Adding that user group would give permissions to other areas of AEM which we want to avoid. if you check the permissions for those, you will find they have access to a lot more places than we need.
I am looking for a specific path in AEM which I can provide access that would turn that option on

Ganesh,
So found that just giving access to /etc/workflow showed that option. The last hurdle is when I click that, I don't see the workflows listing in dropdown to start a workflow
