Thanks, I've done all these. I did uploading users in AEM -> Assets -> Brand Portal Users, then added these users to the "Asset Contribution" tab of the folder in AEM assets. The external partners are able to see the "New" folder in Brand Portal but still do not see "Create" option. Do I need to sync users imported in AEM assets and Brand Portal somehow?

So we published the contribution folder to brand portal and it correctly created "New" and "Shared" folders. However the agency partners do not see the "Create" option. Is that because we need to upload that user list in AEM Assets by going to contribution folder, "Asset Contribution" tab and adding members there? If the member does nto exist there, they will not see "Create" on brand portal ---> is that the correct behavior? If I now add the user by importing them in AEM --> tools --> Assets --...

Vikas: Thanks for it. I think that was the reason. Sorted that. Another question. So our partners are not able to see "Create" CTA inside the new folder. I assume that was because I had not added that user by going in AEM -> Tools --> Assests --> Brand Portal Users and uploaded CSV and then configured the contribution folder by adding those users. Is that correct? I need to add users by going to AEM assets contribution folder for them to be able to see "CREATE" cta? Follow up on that, now that I...

Currently we have the language-masters/en -> us/en hierarchy. however, the authors have an ongoing issue with having to update masters, roll-out to us, then go to the same page to US and then request publication. If the power user has access both over language-masters and us/en, what is a mechanism where they can have a "rollout+publish" option to be able to roll-out the page and activate a publishing workflow on us/en or any other market?

In my client instance, I am unable to see the "Admin Control" option in the inbox view. What privileges are required to see that view? I am already in the "Admins" group (with AMS). Do I need to be in "Administrator" group to see that?

we want to create a report to show breakdown of assets by folder - is there an easy utility? Tried to use the ACS commons reports-> asset but if we have a ton of assets, the asset report breaks - we would love to get a breakdown by folder hopefully with indentation of folder as well

Is this a known issue and if so, what's the fix for this? Drag and Drop Image(File upload) when used as first level field it is working fine. But when used as part of Multifield it is not working --- we are able to drag and drop an image from content finder but when we save the dialog, values not saving to JCR.

Are there standard steps to customize the default login page including the text that shows up?Is there an existing project package. One way is to basically debug what all images login resource has and update the images but wondering if someone has done that already and has standard steps documented.

Ganesh,So found that just giving access to /etc/workflow showed that option. The last hurdle is when I click that, I don't see the workflows listing in dropdown to start a workflow

Ganesh,Adding that user group would give permissions to other areas of AEM which we want to avoid. if you check the permissions for those, you will find they have access to a lot more places than we need.I am looking for a specific path in AEM which I can provide access that would turn that option on

We have user groups with specific permissions on site content. But we want the users to be able to "start" a specific workflow. Since we restricted permissions, the user is unable to see the "start workflow" option on the edit mode of a page.Which exact permission governs the showing of "start workflow" option? Thanks

Specifically for startersThe background of the "Navigation" landing page (Page you see as soon as you log into AEM)The vertical bar that has navigation and tools button to probably have a vertical text with client name and some branded color backgroundThe top bar that reads "Adobe Experience Manager" to read differently (not AEM but Client name) and also background color should be brand format

VarunThanks a lot!Quick question - if i have this node and i also go to a specific user and assign manual read rights to that path for that user using useradmin, which would take precedence? For example, on CUG i say only "HR" has rights but then I got to my user and I am not in HR but I go and give read privileges to the path, what's the expected behavior of AEM?

Navin/ScottLet me clarify the question a bit more. My question was if I mark a path with CUG enabled, what properties in the node structure reflect that? Because if I go to crx, and explicitly assign rights, it will essentially create a rep:policy node under that content jcr:path. So even for read for a group (not user), I can either use a CUG to only allow that group into it, or I can find that group in crxde and assign jcr:read to that path for the group which will create rep:policy node.

What's the difference in assigning user groups rights using crxde (going to that user in useradmin and assigning specific rights) vs CUG? is it that CUG is purely read only vs with crxde you get finder control? Does adding CUG also different in terms of creating a rep:policy node for that content path
