ms office files not getting versioned when we make any metadata changes

Hello Everyone,

any one has idea how to make ms office documents like .ppt, .doc, .docx,.xls,.xls to be versioned

I am able to see versions getting created for the pdf file and jpg but not the office files.

do any body have idea where to configure to achieve the version for these files.
