Garbage Collection

Hi,

I am running garbage collection in my cq 5.6.1 instance. In the logs it says Garbage collection completed successfully but my directory file size has not reduced.

Just a thought.

May be analysing the relevant logs while the GC was running will provide you with some insights. Also, is the GC log enabled on your instance.
