Issue with permissions ? after upgrade to 5.6.1

Avatar

I have just tested an upgrade to 5.6.1 from 5.4

As administrator I can create a page in siteadmin, but cant delete it. In DAM I cant activate or delete

As an Author user I can login, but cant access siteadmin, dam etc.

From what I can see Admin (Full Access) and Author have the correct "page" permissions.

Any ideas?

I ended up migrating to 5.6.1 rather than using the inplace upgrade.

I believe the issue was due to an old copy of /apps/cq/ui/widgets/source/widgets/wcm/SiteAdmin.Actions.js overriding the copy in libs, as I got the same issue when this was migrated over. I removed it and SiteAdmin is working fine now.

Finally got around to testing this solution, and unfortunately it made no difference. I am fairly sure the issue is not with replication permissions though. The instructions mention getting a "Run" button on the

~~http://localhost:4502/etc/cleanup_privileges.clean.html page, But I didn't see one. It seemed to indicate all was ok though.

Actually its just Delete that is still not available, in SiteAdmin and DAM, I can activate/deactivate in the DAM now.
