Hello
My users are working with off-line content in the classroom, in my applications generated by DPS2015 tecnology.
Two weeks ago, we receive the first user mail. Now, we have almost 10 users with the same problem.
The application, with off-line content, use almost 3Gb of storage. And then, one day, all the content is lost.
At the first momment I think in user interation as a cause. But, with my tablet, in my office, the problem occours too.
We are working with Android 4.4. The application was generated in 11/fev/2016.
Thanks for any help.

Hi Leo, if the apps are staring to consume too much cache, you can manually clear it by going into the application preferences and clearing the cache in the storage settings.
There are two ways in which content is saved on a device from a DPS 2015 / AEM Mobile application -
1) The collection and it's content can be explicitly saved for offline usage
(Manage collections in AEM Mobile) see metadata section for allow user to save to device.
2) Individual articles are cached to the device as user's read them. The app keeps a rolling cache that can grow quite big depending on the size of the articles, but periodically the cache will purge and rebuild. As mentioned above the cache can be manually cleared using the app's storage settings.

Leo, any article content that is not explicitly downloaded by the user can be purged from the application. Was this content explicitly downloaded, and then at some point it was all purged from the device? Or is this only an issue when the user is offline?
There was a bug fix in March that addressed accessing downloaded content while offline. It was very to cases where you use the restricted collections functionality and try to view any content while offline. You should update the app to see if that addresses the problem.

Hi Leo,
This is what's happening on iOS, NOT Android (sorry - didn't read initial post carefully):

Thanks,

Hello
Thank you guys.
A fez weeks I saw the bug fix, and we release a new version of our products.
Until today, everything was fine.
Today I receive a customer in my office, with the same problem.
6Gb of content just disappear from the device.
We are using the option to save the content for offline use, allowing the collection to be saved.
I´ll see the other thread. Thanks again.

Leo, the other thread is focussed on iOS. Your behavior is very odd. I think you should open a case with our support team so that your project and account details are captured and can be tracked.
