I have installed on new vm - "AEM Forms on JEE full installer(JBOSS Linux)" released on March 3rd 2022  from

https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-release-information/aem-release-updates/f...

Now I have to install the latest service pack.   The above site contains many links on service packs.  Please let me know what service packs has to be installed.

@bsaefiling for JEE you don't have pre condition, just install the latest SP pack for JBOSS+LX.

Make sure to back up, DB, GDS, Temp and old EAR files(just in case you want to roll back)

On crx packmgr, -> always follow the below approach

  1. check the aem version
  2. back up the crx-reporsitory
  3. download the AEM 6.5.14(https://experience.adobe.com/#/downloads/content/software-distribution/en/aem.html?package=/content/...)
  4. Download forms 6.5.14 add on(https://experience.adobe.com/#/downloads/content/software-distribution/en/aem.html?package=/content/...)
  5. Install AEM first
  6. Check the updated AEM version
  7. Install AEM forms

AEM forms pkg is dependent on the AEM pkg. If you have 6.5.x then forms should be also on 6.5.x

One the instance is updated with AEM then check the system console for the bundle status and now upload forms add-on. Even if you get a  prompt to restart, don't. Wait for the service to get restarted and then do a graceful stop-start.

@bsaefiling

If you've installed AEM Forms 6.5 GM JEE successfully on this set-up, then SP14 can be installed by :

1. AEM Forms 6.5 JEE patch for SP14 - https://experience.adobe.com/#/downloads/content/software-distribution/en/aem.html?package=%2Fconten...

2. Run the installer and then LCM one more time. Detailed steps here- https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-65/release-notes/jee-patch-installer-65.h...

3. Install the AEM core SP14 package via packageManager - https://experience.adobe.com/#/downloads/content/software-distribution/en/aem.html?package=/content/...

4. Last, you need to apply forms add-on for SP14 on Linux package via packageManager - https://experience.adobe.com/#/downloads/content/software-distribution/en/aem.html?package=/content/...

Hope this helps!
