Ignoring text objects in response file?

Good day all, trying to determine if there's a way to "ignore" certain objects/subforms in the responses file, possibly through JS? I've noticed our responses file is hanging horribly on a rather dense form. This form has a number of dynamic labels which are done as text objects, and I'm wondering if that's part of the issue. Any suggestions?

I have a feeling this will require switching to captions and investigating changing those dynamically.

Sorry, fairly new to AEM, it's an old livecycle form, redone in AEM, distributed through emails and imported on our end into a response file.

So even a title piece of text shows up as a form field in the responses file.

You need to explain a bit better what it is you are doing. What is "the response file"? A PDF, XML data attached to the e-mail? What are you doing with the emailed "form" on the server? Are you merging data with the LiveCycle form or are you reading out data from the PDF? And what have captions to do with your problem? Can you provide a screenshot to give s a better idea?
