Editing the Theme for Adaptive Form

Hello All, 

I have a problem regarding the adaptive form themes, when I am creating the them, it does not let me remove or change some components in the canvas. Is there any way to do that without css overriding?

Styling can be difficult when it comes to Adaptive Forms and the theme builder can be limiting. Here is a link to one of my blogs where I talk about the precedents order which is taken into consideration when loading an adaptive form style. Thanks for your reply, the use case is I have 2 forms and I want to convert them to adaptive forms by using automated conversion service. For precise conversion I want to create templates and themes to have precise conversion. But out of the box themes are not ending up well so I want to create a matching theme.
