Adobe Experience Manager Forms

Adobe’s AEM Forms Early Access page was last updated October 20, 2026, and it now lists several items worth a look. Everything below is Early Access, not generally available. The page doesn’t give finer status labels, and most items don’t state an access process. The general route is to email aem-forms-ea@adobe.com from your official address.Listed in the 2026.9.0 release notes (Forms Early Access section)1. File attachment virus scanning and custom validation (EA). Adaptive Forms can send each uploaded attachment to a scanner or validator you choose before it’s persisted. You implement a FileAttachmentValidator service, so the engine is your choice (antivirus, malware scanner or custom logic). Files are checked in memory, so a rejected file never reaches the repository. You can register several validators and assign one, or none, per form. Adobe has docs on custom validators and a ClamAV tutorial. If you take file uploads on public forms, this closes a real gap, but you own the scanni

Hi,We have a requirement to add custom properties in the filter, so that users can easily search based on the values for those properties. We have three custom property which are of type String, and I want to add them to this filter: I could see that OOTB, these are the only options under: /libs/cq/gui/components/coral/common/admin/customsearch/searchpredicatesCan someone suggest if we can add custom properties to filter with String values. Thank you.

AEM JEE Forms workflows - iykyk: We have a couple of customers who have several JEE based AEM Forms workflows (yes, the old LiveCycle LCAs). We are testing a "single click" migration tool and we're wondering if there is broader applicability. Are there still customer using JEE Workflows in production? If you can use it in your practice or if you have a list of customers that could use it, we'd appreciate the opportunity to help. Send me a message.

Hi All, We are migrating AEM Forms to Cloud from AMS.When setting up the local, we placed the .far file add-on in the install and then brought over our custom forms. 09.09.2026 21:04:17.714 *ERROR* [[0:0:0:0:0:0:0:1] [1788968057597] GET /content/forms/af/brandA/en/forms/contact-sales-form.html HTTP/1.1] com.adobe.aemds.guide.internal.impl.utils.rhino.RhinoScriptProcessor Failed to execute script 'parser': FAILED ASSERTIONjava.lang.IllegalStateException: FAILED ASSERTION at org.mozilla.javascript.Kit.codeBug(Kit.java:375) at org.mozilla.javascript.TokenStream.<init>(TokenStream.java:47) at org.mozilla.javascript.Parser.parse(Parser.java:568) at org.mozilla.javascript.Context.parse(Context.java:2533) at org.mozilla.javascript.Context.compileImpl(Context.java:2482) at org.mozilla.javascript.Context.compileString(Context.java:1486) at org.mozilla.javascript.Context.compileString(Context.java:1475) at org.mozilla.javascript.Context.evaluateString(Context.java:1231) at com.adobe.aemds.

Hi ,We have a requirement to capture the statistics for the forms on aem 6.5 system. Is it possible to capture the first published date for the form in AEM forms on aem 6.5. I know we can captured the last published date from here:  Similarly we need to capture the first publish date of this form. Can anyone please suggest, thank you.

I am working with a local AEM as a Cloud Service SDK environment and would like to enable HTTPS access for the local author/publish instance.Currently, the instance is running on the default HTTP port (e.g., http://localhost:4502). I would like to understand the recommended approach for running the local Cloud SDK on HTTPS, similar to production environments.AEM as a Cloud Service SDK (Local) Operating System: Windows/Mac/Linux (update as applicable) SDK Version: 2026.6.26908.20260625T154911Z-260600

On Prem AEM 6.5 LTS Service Pack 2 -We’ve created an Adaptive Form but are having issues attempting to create a new Adaptive Form Fragment. I came across this adapt To session about AEM Forms rule authoring that involves using the coding agents. Looking forward to try this out.Has anyone tried this yet and would love to hear more on their take on this topic.https://adapt.to/2026/schedule/reimagining-aem-forms-rule-authoring-with-coding-agentsI do not see the link to the github repo yet. I will also post it here once I find it.

AEM Forms doesn't get as much Reddit airtime as Sites or Assets, but the 2026 release cycle has shipped some notable changes including a genuinely new interaction model. Here's what's actually landed, verified against current Adobe documentation.1. Conversational Forms (Early Access) chat-style form completionThis is the most novel addition: a Conversational Forms component that can be dragged onto an AEM Sites page with no coding required. Instead of a traditional multi-field form layout, users answer questions one at a time in a chat-style interface closer to talking with a virtual assistant than filling out a form. It's currently Early Access, so treat it as something to pilot, not something to bet a production critical-path form on yet. Worth watching for use cases like lead qualification or intake forms where a conversational flow genuinely improves completion rates over a long static form.2. Edge Delivery for FormsForms now has its own Edge Delivery approach authors can build for

I made the following observation:In the Designer (FormDesigner.exe) for interactive forms, the preview window remained blank.Although the AcroRd32.exe process was launched in the background and the temporary PDF was created in %TEMP%, it was not displayed.A quick analysis revealed that the Windows Update KB5121003 had been installed the day before.Once it had been uninstalled, the problem was resolved. Is this behaviour known?

Question: Adobe Target A/B Testing with AEM as a Cloud Service Adaptive FormsHi ,I’m currently using AEM as a Cloud Service with Adaptive Forms based on Core Components.I would like to understand whether Adobe Target is supported with this setup, specifically for running A/B tests on Adaptive Forms. If it is supported, could someone please share the recommended implementation approach and steps for: Integrating Adobe Target with AEM as a Cloud Service. Setting up A/B testing for an Adaptive Form using Core Components. Creating two different form experiences/variations in Adobe Target. Configuring the audience and traffic split (for example, 50/50). Tracking form submissions/conversions as the success metric. Using A4T/Analytics for reporting, if applicable. Any required Web SDK, Tags/Data Collection, Target client-side libraries, or Cloud Service configurations. Any limitations or prerequisites specific to Adaptive Forms Core Components. If someone has implemented this suc

I have a proof of concept to work on where we need to migrate around 2000 xdp forms to adaptive forms .I have tried with the AFCS service for the automated conversion but it's only converting the fields and some field validation like for email validation, but it's not converting all the rules present in the xdp form also the relatable sections , the add and remove buttons all these are not getting converted. My question is how to approach for this bulk migration where our conversion will be faster and kind of automated ? We have also tried AI for this but can't also Fully convert as it can't access the aem instance .Thank you

We’re facing an issue with browser autocomplete behavior on a public web form and it’s starting to generate incorrect submissions.we have a standard “First name” and “Last name” form section. Recently, in Google Chrome (we cannot identify the browser and version ) , the browser’s autofill feature started filling both the “First name” and “Last name” fields with the user’s first name only. Users often don’t notice this, so they submit the form with an incorrect last name (it’s just their first name duplicated). This creates data quality issues. Is there any way to force the browser autocomplete behavior?  Thanks

Hello there,I have a question about use MS Entra ID in AEM Forms JEE. How can Microsoft Entra ID authentication be configured for two enterprise domains in AEM Forms JEE when each domain currently uses a separate Active Directory server? Thanks.

Hi everyone,I’m researching the best way to build secure digital forms for a healthcare software workflow, mainly around patient intake, consent forms, appointment requests, and insurance information collection. The goal is to move away from manual PDFs and create a smoother digital experience where patients can submit information online, staff can review it easily, and the data can later connect with internal healthcare systems or an EHR/CRM.For teams using Adobe Experience Manager Forms in healthcare or similar regulated industries, what would be the recommended setup?I’m especially trying to understand:Should patient intake forms be built directly in AEM Forms, or should AEM only handle the front-end form experience while sensitive data is passed to a separate backend system? What is the best way to handle consent forms, signatures, and reusable patient information across multiple forms? How do teams usually manage form data security, access control, and audit trails in this kind of

We are about to scale of adaptive forms delivery and expecting a lot of forms ready to be deployed into Production. My questions are around how to source control these forms, i was thinking since these are content we should not be keeping them in GIT (?). I know versioning is offered as a on demand feature, would that be enough ? we will have multiple teams delivering different forms, wanted to build a robust/effective process. Any recommendations or advises will be of great help.

Hi.I’m new to the developer console.I have recently been upgraded to V4 frame.io and it has broken our back end server synchronisation. As a business this is essential for our global production requirements. We have been using docker API Fram-phython sync on a QNAP server. We have the ability to login now with OAuth in frame-python-sync but with no projects showing. However, when trying to set up server to server in dev console it is greyed out saying “Your organisation does not have a license to access this credential type, please contact your admin. If you think this is an error, please contact customer support.” How do I fix this? Or is there a better way? ThanksPete

Hi everyone,When teams plan custom transportation software, one useful approach is to define the measurement model before development starts. This is especially important for transportation, logistics, delivery, fleet, and dispatch workflows because the value of the software is usually tied to operational improvement, not just the number of features built.A practical way to measure Transportation Software ROI is to start with a baseline. Before replacing spreadsheets, manual dispatching, paper forms, or disconnected systems, document the current numbers. Useful baseline metrics can include cost per shipment, delivery delays, manual admin hours, invoice error rate, dispatch response time, fuel usage, empty miles, driver utilization, and customer support volume. After that, map each software feature to one measurable outcome. For example:A dispatch dashboard should reduce manual coordination time. Route optimization should improve delivery performance or reduce fuel usage. Digital proof o

Hi All,I have upgraded to 6.5 LTS SP2 from AEM 6.5 Service pack 22. Now, I wanted to use AEM Forms Core components for Adaptive forms. I am working with a customer who recently purchased Designer 6.5. When the log into https://licensing.adobe.com and go to the download section, that site is secure. However, when they click on the download button, it opens in a new window that is not secure and we get an error that says 'can't be downloaded securely'. Is there any way we can get a secure direct download link or some other way to down load the installer?

Hello everyone,I wanted to get your feedback and suggestions on steps to follow while starting on implementing analytics for AEM Adaptive forms in a headless setup.Since a JSON flows back from AEM, should AEM responsibilities just be restricted to maintaining standard field definitions and the rest of the tagging happens on the front end renderer (React) ?Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

hi,I am facing an issue while rendering PDF from Adaptive forms (build using foundation component) on AEM 6.5.24. The Adaptive form is created using XDP template and the fields are binded too.The issue is that the form has a button, and on click runs a script which enables a subform. The event works fine on Adaptive form too. When the button is click the adaptive fragment (which is the subform in xdp) is visible and the other fields are hidden. The problem is when we render PDF from Adaptive form. The then subform is still hidden. I believe the since it is an UI event on Adaptive, the XDP is not aware of it and it still hides the subform. Is there any way to make subform visible using a button click on Adaptive form?Thank you.

Hi all,I need to conditionally exclude some fields from the auto-generated DOR through code. Nothing I’ve tried to program is working. Please, how can I emulate in code what the “Exclude From Document Of Record” checkbox does? It works correctly when I use the UI checkbox, but if I try to do it via code in the Value Commit event, it doesn’t work. I’ve tried things like:field.dorExclude = true; field.excludeFromDoR = true; field.dorExclude = true…but none of it works. Thanks in advance for your help!Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
