Users not Synching from Admin Console to Brand Portal

Wondering if anyone has come across this issue. I've followed all the steps in this link - which I find highly outdated and not useful to the 2023 experience. https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-brand-portal/using/admin-tools/brand-port...

I've created Group Profiles - they have synched to Brand Portal - but none of my NEW users have.

Also when I create a Contribution folder - I'm not seeing the ability to add any of my users to the folder. To confirm in Adobe Assets CS interface this will allow me to add users that are Users or Groups listed in Admin Console Brand Portal?

The user-to-group association or a user's group membership is synced to the Brand Portal every 8 hours. Therefore, changes to user or group roles are effective only after the next sync job runs. This means it can take up to 8 hours for new users to appear in the Brand Portal.

However, if the users you created still do not appear in the Brand Portal after this period, you might be facing a synchronization issue similar to the one described in the User Profiles for Brand Portal page not working as expected.

Adding users to a Contribution folder in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Brand Portal involves several steps. Here is the documentation with detailed information: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-brand-portal/using/asset-sourcing-in-bran...

Hello @Civison

Just sharing my observation on how I saw this working. The actual users would get created in Brand Portal only after they actually try to login and then after that the permissions take effect as part of sync process that runs every 8 hours.

Also, you'll need to upload a list of users in Assets who you want to be able to upload assets in Brand Portal.

Have a look here.

Be careful, because the file you upload will overwrite any previous upload you've done.

So you'll need to keep a master list of these users, that you add to each time.

Good luck - it is a rather complex process.
