Scene7 - Working with Filename Extensions

Hello, I'm trying to get URLs for static Scene7 images complete with their filename extension. eg. filename.jpg, filename.png, etc. The closest I've come to a solution is finding this document:

https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/scene7/kb/base/static-content-serving/display-static-cont...

This format of a URL works: http://COMPANY.scene7.com/is/image/COMAPANY/FILENAME

This format doesn't work: http://COMPANY.scene7.com/is/content/COMAPANY/FILENAME

I've also tried using the Original filename and Original path elements from Scene7, but to no avail.

Can anyone shed some light on this?
