Hello, Community -- Our users have a requirement to be able to zoom in on images within AEM Assets. Is there an option to do this within AEM Assets? When clicking edit on an asset, we see the toolbar in the attached image, but it doesn't have a 'zoom' option.
Any help is appreciated!

The short answer is NO, you don't have a zoom option in AEM assets. However, depending on what you need to achieve, you have a couple of options:
Dynamic Media is the easier solution, but as mentioned by @diksha_mishra, it requires an extra license.
You could potentially add a custom "zoom" effect using pure JavaScript. Depending on whether you need to provide the zoom for authors or for end users, you may need to overlay or create a new component with such behavior.
If the problem is that the image is too small, you should always check the other renditions, which will be at a higher resolution. You could even generate a larger one just as a workaround for the lack of a zoom option
Keep in mind that Assets is not a full image editor, that's why this option is not available.
Hope this helps
@ndlholm1 You can get zoom functionality (of a viewer) by using Dynamic Media Integration.
We have the same integrated, it needs an additional license, but gives powerful dynamic viewer and image modifying capabilities on the fly.
Here's how to setup: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-65/assets/dynamic/administering-dynamic-m...
Here's a quick guide on Dynamic Media Viewers (previously Scene7): https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/dynamic-media-classic/using/zoom/quick-start-zoom.html?lang=...
Hope this helps.
