using Lightroom 5 with El Capitan operating system

I am considering upgrading my mini-Mac's OS from Mountain Lion (OSX 10.8) to El Capitan (OSX 10.11) and wish to know if my Adobe Lightroom 5 software will be affected or not. Will it still run ok under OS El Capitan??? If not, then what should be done about that?
