Adobe experience cloud: Deployment architecture

Dear Adobe experts,

We need some information about adobe marketing cloud deployment.

For one of our clients, we will be using ACS + Analytics + Target.

We would like to know:

1. ) What is the cloud deployment architecture.?
2. ) Is it a private cloud or a public cloud (it is very important)?

Client is very curious to know about where their data will land , is it a public or private cloud.

It would be great, if you can help us resolve above queries.

Also, if possible, please guide us to some document links which explains the above scenarios.
