How to create technical workflow in ACS

Hi,

I want to migrate technical workflows from Campaign Classic to Standard. But in ACS, I am not able to create new technical workflow in the location "Administration > Application Settings > Workflows". Is it possible in ACS to create custom technical workflows and edit existing out-of-box workflows?

Hi,

you can't create a workflow in the Administration > ... location.

What you can do:

* Create a new program called Technical Workflows

* Put a campaign inside

* Create a new workflow inside this campaign

* Then use organizational units to restrict access for business users.

Out-of-the-box workflows are not supposed to be modified.

I want to use JS code and nlserver module activities. These are not available in campaign workflows

Hi,

both of them are not supported to be used in custom workflows.

So you can't use any of them and are limited to use what the default activities are delivering.

As far as I know there is a plan for some types to allow more extensibility / programming, but not sure when that may be released and what the relevant scope would be.
