Fetching AEM assets into Adobe Campaign Standard

Hi all,
I want to fetch AEM assets from my AEMaaCS instance into my Adobe Campaign Standard Instance on the same environment. 
I cannot find any documentation or steps to do the same.
I see that we have option to add Images from Asset Core Service and Adobe Target into my mail via mail designer. 
Can I leverage above integrations to somehow fetch and use the images in my AEM assets into my ACS instance emails?
Please mention if you have achieved the above use case ( in whichever way ) ,
also please mention if any documentation/blog might help my scenario.
