ACS report: which elements should add up to the number shown in 'Bounces + Errors'?

I created in ACS a small report in which I compare the bounce and error rates of a few campaigns. Somehow the numbers don't add up.
Look at the first line: 116 + 101 + 72 = 289. Errors and bounces are supposed to be 383, what sub category am I missing?

Hi @laravl

What it might be causing the discrepancies is that some error categories like ignored or excluded, aren't included in the standard error and bounce counts. At the end, what Adobe tracks is various errors including temporary issues and certain exclusions that will affect the totals.

Additionally, I leave you with some links of useful documentation:

Hi Celia,

Thanks for your response, but unfortunately this still does not answer my question. Somewhere there must be a clear definition of wat is included in the category 'Bounces + Errors'. I would really like to know that because a difference of 100 (on a total of 383) is too much to put it aside.

Lara

Hi @laravl

Have you tried to open a ticket with Adobe Support.

In any case would you mind sharing if you have any error specific metric in your report.

Regards,

Celia

Hi Celia,

I did not open a ticket because I assumed that I am missing a certain category. I don't mind showing you the actual report in an online meeting if you think that might be useful. How can we arrange that?

Kind regards,

Lara
