Email Personalisation based on Device Type

Greetings,

We have a use case to personalize the email content in real time based on the mobile device used. We are using Adobe Campaign Classic as our Campaign management platform across Email, SMS and DM.  I am new to Adobe Target and based on my understanding I assume that integrating AC and AT would allow us to personalize the email content in real time based on Segments, Geo location etc.

What I am not very sure of is, can we personalize the content based on device type as well? E.g if the user opens the email on an iOS device the content will be different compared to if they open the email on an Android device.

Would love to hear some views on this.

I believe this can be done part of campaign segmentation based on device type for SMS delivery but not at the time of message open.

It will be interesting to see how to do it in real time (if possible)
