Re: Downloading Multiple Files from S3 using a wildcard AbdulZa - Adobe Campaign Standard
Hi,I believe you can have only one wildcard char and it has to be at the end of the file name prefix. This means, you will need to reformat the naming of your data files (Source system to ACS).Thanks.

Remember that batch campaign (adhoc or recurring) are stored in the BroadLogRcp table. RT triggers/messages are stored in different set of tables in Adobe ACC mart.

Re: Adobe Campaign Classic - Data Extraction AbdulZa - Adobe Campaign Classic
Dusan,I believe ACC doesn't have monitoring service for customer's responses to emails for keyword like "remove me", "unsubscribe me", "opt me out", etc. All unsubscribe requests/optouts are made using the unsubscribe link which means the such data is stored somewhere in your database.Since email unsubscribe suppression is essential, best practice is to include the email unsubscribe flag/date on the RECIPIENT table by extending the schema as well as developing a technical workflow to update the ...

Re: Adobe Campaign Classic - Data Extraction AbdulZa - Adobe Campaign Classic
Hi,Most likely you have a mapping issue in either the Query activity node or the enrichment activity node due to the resolution levels (targeting dimension) of your query and the output. Review these nodes again and make the proper adjustment. Remember that the relationship is 1:M between recipients to open/click table. Thanks.

Re: Is it possible to programmatically export delivery logs? AbdulZa - Adobe Campaign Classic
Hi,Option #1 is the recommended approach since it will include large data (promotion history/send history data). We have implemented a similar approach and it works well. There is option #3, if you have a hybrid ACC implementation, the ACC system tables (mart) will reside in a relational DB on your side. your DBA and/or DB developer can create their own ETL to pull the data incremental from ACC mart to any destination (flat files, another DB, etc.).Option #2 I don't recommend.Thanks.

Re: ER diagram for Campaign AbdulZa - Adobe Campaign Classic
Hi,You can use data modeling tool (e.g., ERwin) to reverse engineering the ACC system DB (mart tables) and it will produce the physical data model. As Ramon said, if the PK-FK relationships are not enforced in the DB by ACC, the physical model will not reflect such relationships. However, it should not be a hard task to go table by table to define these relationships in your data model based on experience, common column names and as well as simple data profiling/queries. For example, Operation a...

I believe this can be done part of campaign segmentation based on device type for SMS delivery but not at the time of message open.It will be interesting to see how to do it in real time (if possible)

Yes, BroadLogRCP is the default available table and it is part of the NMS namespace (label is Delivery Logs).

Re: Custom Segments creation in Dynamic Reports in ACS AbdulZa - Adobe Campaign Standard
Hi,You can extend the the BroadLogRcp table table by adding the segment ID/Code as a new column. This means you will be able to track your campaign segmentation in the ACS promotion history table (BroadLogRcp) and make it available for reporting. We've done that recently for two of our clients on ACS.Thanks.

Re: Update delivery channel value AbdulZa - Adobe Campaign Classic
Milan,I believe you can either come up with standard code/naming for your non-email delivery which campaign or reporting teams can later parse it to pull the proper channel or you can extend the NMS Delivery schema to add a field to capture the real channel code (extend schema, change delivery form).Keep in mind the ACC promotion history table (BroadLogRcp) is detailed down to the delivery level. If you want to promote a recipient to receive multi touches/messages via different channels in a giv...

Re: Export directory AbdulZa - Adobe Campaign Classic
Badr,Having a service file watcher process (OS scheduled process or a service) or a post delivery/export activity node in ACC can do part of the work but still the ability to identify files extracted by specific users and move them to different directories is challenging. For example, you can have a file watcher process (OS scheduled script) to look for files with *_A.txt suffix and move them to final destination folder xxxxx_A while moving files with *_B.txt suffix to a different destination dir...

Re: Pressure rule for 2 emails per week AbdulZa - Adobe Campaign Classic
Hi All,"Air Traffic Control" for campaigns is very tough subject and cannot be perfect. Keep in mind the more complex the rules, the slower is the delivery prep since Typology rules/Pressure rules will applied at the time of delivery activity node execution.Having said that, you can always calculate the Monday of the week using expression and they use Today - Monday of the week date to calculate # of communications/messages sent to a customer and use that in the pressure rule. Assuming here the ...

Re: Use of multiple delivery template in Single delivery AbdulZa - Adobe Campaign Classic
I don't remember seeing this and I doubt it is possible. I believe you need to make your template more dynamic to meet your needs or you need to split the universe into multiple segments before directing each sub-universe into the proper delivery activity node (which is helpful for reporting).

Re: Export directory AbdulZa - Adobe Campaign Classic
Hi Badr,I don't think you can do that in an automated/systematic way. The A/B users can select the destination directory when exporting their campaign files on the server. You can set few environment variables in the configuration instance file to condXTK_SHARED_DIR=AndexportDirectory="$(XTK_SHARED_DIR)/var/$(INSTANCE_NAME)/export/" uploadDirectory="$(XTK_SHARED_DIR)/var/$(INSTANCE_NAME)/upload/" workingDirectory="$(XTK_SHARED_DIR)/var/$(INSTANCE_NAME)/work-space/"> Keep in mind that this is an i...

Re: ACS - Organizational Units tree AbdulZa - Adobe Campaign Standard
Hi,This is very interesting question. I have a similar question. From my experience, once the organization unit (representing brand in your case) is added to the profile, the profile table becomes a brand-individual or brand-account level table. That means, the organization unit/individual is the natural key for this table and as a result all additional attributes such as registration, recency, etc. are kept/stored on that new level.Access to the profiles under each org unit is managed by the ACS...

Re: How can i link nms:deliveryLogs and nms:trackedUrls (Delivery URL Tracking) Schemas AbdulZa - Adobe Campaign Classic
That's correct. Since the tracking log recipient (TrackingLogRcp) is the lowest level, you query activity node has to be set at that level so you can pull attributes/columns from other higher level tables such as BroadLogRcp, Delivery, etc.Thanks.

Re: Adding a Personalization Fields AbdulZa - Adobe Campaign Classic
Hi,I believe that you can set audience level in the first query activity node to Event Registration table and pass the first/last names. Later in the workflow, you can change the audience level to recipient table and that will keep the first/last names columns and make them available to the delivery. Limiting the query to new registration events (assuming this is a recurring campaign) and using the dedup activity node (if needed) can help you ensuring a person gets one communication if he/she re...

Re: Viewing deliveries by target data used (not delivery name) AbdulZa - Adobe Campaign Classic
Hi,I think using the recipient's fav color column/attribute as a snapshot attribute (capturing the fav color of a recipient at the time of delivery an storing it on the BroadLogRcp table). You can update the recipient target mapping to reflect that. Of course you need first to extend the schema of BroadLogRcp by creating the new column. At least this is one way to do it.Thanks.

Re: Send time optimization for nurture emails AbdulZa - Adobe Campaign Classic
I don't think ACC is capable yet to send emails based on the local time zone of the recipient. I remember seeing that future capability using Sensei.A work around is to split the final target campaign universe using a split activity node based on the local time zone for recipients, make sure to set NULLs and/or any undesired time zone into a default time zone so they all get sent to the proper delivery.Interested in knowing if there is another way to do.

Re: Split popolation AbdulZa - Adobe Campaign Classic
Hi,Campaign users should not worry about "temp" tables and just focus on using the activity nodes. I believe if the customer can receive different personalized messages during the journey, there should be different delivery nodes and not trying to make one delivery do everything. It is the preferred method for campaign execution and post execution reporting. You use the split activity node to segment your universe for each touch and assign the proper segment code for ease of reporting.Thanks.

Hi,You should be able to use the Tracking Log table since it is linked to the profile to identify EM engaged people. If you don't filter by a delivery, then you can identify and include/exclude people ever opened/clicked on any email.Adobe Campaign Help | Tracking messages Thanks.
