Starting this week, I've been unable to publish DIL codes in Google Tag Manager. I've tried several DIL code versions, all with the same error (Javascript Compiler Error). I can even publish a DIL code previously published on the same site and I get the same error.
Here is the specific error:
Error at line 49, character 155: Violation: Function, setTimeout, setInterval and requestAnimationFrame with a string argument are equivalent to calling eval, which can cause code-injection security vulnerabilities and prevents the closure compiler from optimizing code correctly. See go/safe_coding/findings/js-dom-sink.md#remedies-for-eval. Please use go/jsconformance-yaqs for further questions.
Has anyone successfully published a DIL code through GTM this week?

Solved! Go to Solution.
richm92841132 .. this is a know issue that has been reported to us in the past couple of days and our teams are working to correct this. Essentially this is due to GTM raising their security policy making part of the DIL code not valid for that purpose. If I'm not mistaken the error comes up when trying to publish some code with GTM but everything that has already been published is still working as expected.
There will be a new code release from us in the next few weeks, I don't currently have a timeframe for this but just wanted to let you know we are working on this.
Hope it helps, will try and come back to this thread when I have more to share.

Hello There,
By looking at this error, it is hard to say where the issue is and in recently we have heard about this error with GTM.
For us to look into this further we would be needing more details around this issue, I request you to please connect with us via amsupport@adobe.com so that we can gather connect over a screen share session where we can see information such as the website where the code is implemented and what is the trigger for this error message. Apart from this, we would be needing company details and a look into AAM code snippet.
A possible solution/engineering help can be provided once we have all the details.
Also, we will not be able to look into the implementation but we can definitely help you circle down the issue as in whether it is with DIL code or with the GTM.
Hoping to connect with you soon.
