AAM Cloud

Hi,

In typical implementation of any project, we have DEV, System Integration, UAT and Prod Environments.

Adobe offers AAM on Cloud as  a SAS.

Is this cloud the same for all those environments or we have a separate cloud for each of these environments?

If it is the same, it could lead to data discrepancies, as a lot of test data may be created for development and testing and that could disturb the UAT and Prod.

While a separate cloud for each of these environments would be a clean solution.

Appreciate your responses.

Thanks,

Rama.

Rama - unfortunately AAM only offers a single environment but this doesn't mean you can't use it to test different setups.

The way we handled this in the past is by creating traits specific to the environments that we are testing, this includes data sources for ID Synching and onboarding as well. You can use the url or any other indicator that will help you identify the environment that is sending that traffic. It is a bit tedious but possible to separate the traffic from each environment.

Also at one point there used to be a way to send data to a staging instance but not exactly sure how to access that now. I think this option has been disabled, as far as I remember.
