Hi,
I'm looking to update calendar in Adobe Analytics to run from Mon - Sun (rather than the defulat Sun-Sat), however, when doing this (and when reading documentation) there is a warning that states:
"When a calendar’s definition of weeks and months changes, historical data is not altered."
I'm not fully sure what this means, does this mean that any data (i.e. Visits, Unique Vistors) prior to the change will still be calculated on a Sun-Sat basis? I've made the change in a Dev report suite and the data appears to update/backdate as expected.
Am I missing an unexpected draw backs/discrepancies that may occur or will making this change simply update how "weekly" data is viewed in Analytics, as I expected, and work historically?
Thanks
Toby

The statement implies that the historical data will still be reported as per Sun-Sat. So if you were to see weekly report collectively for the period before and after the change, there can be confusion due to the differences in the calendar settings.
Hope this clarifies!
along with original post, I also have anothe questions.
So far, seems only Admin can change the start-end day globally. Hopefully there will be a way define the start-end day of week by each user, or by project/workspace.

It's a fact that changing the calendar changes the way data is processed (i.e. the definition of weekly and monthly unique visitors). When a calendar’s definition of weeks and months changes, historical data is not altered.
Also, this is applicable across all the tools within Adobe Analytics. If you are noticing a behavior different than above, I'd recommend that you reach out to Client Care to dig into it further.
