Hi everyone,I'm looking at Analytics data for a mobile app. In the SDK
one of the lifecycle context data is "DaysSinceLastUse". Is there a way
to get a more granular view of this? I.e. for a proportion of our app
launches "DaysSinceLastUse" is 0. It would be good to know for those
users how long it has been in HH:MM:SS between uses if users use the app
more than once on the same day.
Thanks @ishans52004352, this is what it seems to imply, but when I have
checked the data in Workspace and Report Builder in our Dev report
suite, it seems to historically update as well. Do you know where this
can have an impact? (i.e. is it specific parts of analytics that don't
Thanks Khurshid_Alam, this explains a lot. Do you know why this is the
case? It seems odd to add a pageView to a track Action just because
PageName gets set? I haven't seen this in the documentation anywhere. Is
there anywhere this is referenced?
Hi,I'm looking to update calendar in Adobe Analytics to run from Mon -
Sun (rather than the defulat Sun-Sat), however, when doing this (and
when reading documentation) there is a warning that states:"When a
calendar’s definition of weeks and months changes, historical data is
not altered." I'm not fully sure what this means, does this mean that
any data (i.e. Visits, Unique Vistors) prior to the change will still be
calculated on a Sun-Sat basis? I've made the change in a Dev report
suite and th...
Hi everyone,I'd like to know if it is possible to create a "metric
agnostic" % change column in workspace. In workspace I have several
tables where:Column A is a list of metricsColumns B and C are different
date rangesI.e.MetricsLast MonthThis MonthMetric 1123123Metric
2123123Metric 3123123This helps me quickly see metric performance
against different time periods. However at the moment, if I want to add
a % change column, I need to export this into excel to do that
calculation. I'd like to be a...
Hello, I want to create a calculated metric that is a static number. For
example, say the site has a fixed sales target for the year. I can
create a graph in workspace to show cumulative sales as the year
progresses using a calculated metric, but would like to be able to add
an additional "target line" to the graph so I can easily see progress
relative to the target. What I'm looking to replicate is something
similar in look to the server call usage graph in the Admin console,
where the annual l...
Thanks @jeff_bloomer & @evolytics_brian. I've thought about using the
segmentation route (there are segments for new vs repeat out of the box
too), but was hoping to be able to keep it as a dimension as it makes
breakdowns (and Report Builder Reports, etc) much quicker to create. For
now I guess we need to stick to the plugins. Appreciate the help.
Hi,Does anyone know if it's possible to classify/use processing rules
(or other methods) with the out of the box variables in Adobe
Analyticsi.e. Classifying Visit Number to New / Repeat (removing the
need the New/Repeat plugin and keeping this data as a dimension rather
than a segment) or Mobile Device Type to create more useful groupings?I
can't see a way to do this in the classification builders, and it
appears these Variables cannot be selected for processing rules either.
