Which option should an Architect recommend to integrate Adobe Analytics with the AEM Author instance?

 

(A) Adobe Analytics SDK

(B) Adobe Analytics Cloud Configuration

(C) Adobe Launch

(D) Dynamic Tag Management (DTM)

Definitely not (D). DTM was deprecated in 2020.

If you're an independent analytics consultant or vendor, you will probably lean towards (C) Adobe Launch, because that gives you the most flexibility in setting up your tags via a tag manager. If you don't want to use a tag manager like Adobe Launch, then you would choose (A) Adobe Analytics SDK.

If you're an Adobe employee, you would choose (B) Adobe Analytics Cloud Configuration, because then you can boast that Adobe provides this "seamless integration between its products so that it all works well together". But in reality, it won't work as smoothly as you expect, so (C) (or (A)) would be your realistic choice.
