I have two teams in different geographical locations. When setting up entry pages within segment builder one team uses HIT, the other Visit when creating the definition. Which one is more accurate/correct?

Hi When a cohort table displays +1 days, is this counting return visitors within 24 hours of the original visit or after 24 hours? Or is this based on day i.e. If included is 01/08/2019, +1 Days would be 02/08/2019. I can't find any explanation in documentation or online.Thanks
