Hi there,
We are sending the amount of our orders in order's currency and the Analytics account has default currency as USD. It seems our platform does not do the conversion before is sent, therefore the exchange is done by Adobe. Which is the exchange rate used by Adobe? I do not manage to spot this in the documentation.
Could anyone shed a bit of light here?
Thank you,
Raluca

this featue is not available to my knowledge in Analytics at this time. (Please correct me if I am mistaken)
How ever Data Workbench can do what you are wanting to do. If you set the currency code at the page level then it is recorded in that row of Data. The conversion to usd happens post processing. In Data Workbench we could read in the pre and post fields to give you both values and allow for you to report both ways.
Let me know if you want more information on this.

Hello,
The exchange rate used will be the one at the time the image request converts the page level currency into the report suite currency. Here is the documentation - Multi-Currency Support
Thanks,

Hi Tanmay,
Thank you for the reply. I already ran into that page of documentation, but which is actually the rate? Is it public or does it have reference/source where is it taken from? That's what I am trying to find out.
Thank you,
Raluca

Hi Raluca,
The rate would be dynamic in nature. I don't think anyone would have access to the definite source but it would be the concerned market body that supplies the exchange rate data for that particular country.
I hope that helps.

So my understanding is:
on each page, we can have different currency
when DTM send image data to adobe server, based on the default currency defined in report suite, all the order number will be translate into default currency. If it is USD, then all order before save to report suite, it will be transformed into USD
report level: at user login session, we can set to different currency. Then all the reports user creates will use this currency.
This is correct? But if a user want to create report with different currencies, what should this user do?
Thanks

the rate is done in real time and based off a currency exchange live “Table” for lack of a better term.
This is done on the server at the time of the conversion.
