Re: 1000721a Circular Definitions BrandonKern-6Rh - Adobe Analytics
I am guessing this is happening when you are creating a dimension in the dimensions directory. What is the dimension you are creating and what is the dimension you are referencing to create it?

Re: xlsx-Export for Workspace BrandonKern-6Rh - Adobe Analytics
Normally xlsx formats are for exporting complex formats, visualizations, etc. Since none of this exports from Analytics there really is no need for the extra overhead. CSV files load directly into Excel and if I am not mistaken you can choose your delimiter in Tableau so you could read directly from the CSV also.

Re: Allow Analytics Data Feed over SFTP to other ports BrandonKern-6Rh - Adobe Analytics
For SFTP, please refer to the following document to set up Data Feed via Analytics UI.https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/reference/t_feed-add.htmlThe IPs that needs to be whitelisted are documented here. You would need to whitelist all the IPs on the top block.https://helpx.adobe.com/analytics/kb/adobe-ip-addresses.htmlYou would need to set up public keys on SFTP to allow Adobe servers to connect. Public keys can be downloaded from Data Feed UI. Refer to SFTP section in the below d...

Re: How to login into Data Workbench - blank screen BrandonKern-6Rh - Adobe Analytics
KrazYou are correct that it is not a direct connection to Analytics but it doesn't take IT infrastructure to stand it up. It is an add on to any analytics product so it might not hurt to have a conversation with your Account Executive around it. It will do everything you are asking for and more, including bringing in offline and other data.If you have any more questions please don't hesitate to reach out.Brandon

Re: Adobe Analytics default exchange rate BrandonKern-6Rh - Adobe Analytics
Cathythis featue is not available to my knowledge in Analytics at this time. (Please correct me if I am mistaken)How ever Data Workbench can do what you are wanting to do. If you set the currency code at the page level then it is recorded in that row of Data. The conversion to usd happens post processing. In Data Workbench we could read in the pre and post fields to give you both values and allow for you to report both ways. Let me know if you want more information on this.

Raucla the rate is done in real time and based off a currency exchange live “Table” for lack of a better term. This is done on the server at the time of the conversion.

Re: Multiple Report Suites in one Workspace project BrandonKern-6Rh - Adobe Analytics
Not sure if your organization has Data Workbench or not but this is a key feature of the tool. It can intake as many RS as you want as well as your offline data too. It also has the the ability to work through tagging that does not match up in different report suites.Example: RS1 evar1 captures accountid and evar10 capture email. RS2 evar1 captures email And evar10 captures accountid. DWB can take both report suites in and process them and you can see the followingtotal emails across both RStota...

Re: Testing Analytics with Local AEM BrandonKern-6Rh - Adobe Analytics
Joelwhat are your settings in your local version of AEM as far as sending the beacon call?can you spin up IIS on your local machine so it could act as a web server?im just kind of thinking this through. I am not an AEM expert by any means but have a pretty good grasp on networking, etc. if you are familiar with DWB or have the ability to get it, it has a product called Report. This was used to publish workspaces/reports to a portal that was through IIS on the server. You might be able to work wi...

Re: Need to move the particular data (URL) to Dev Report Suite BrandonKern-6Rh - Adobe Analytics
If you have not taken a look at Launch or heard of it yet this might be a solution that could work. You can still use Tealium as your overall TMS but you can use Lanuch for special cases like this. Launch is really flexiable in this way as you dont have to “marry” the solution, you can just date it when needed (thanks Jordan for that quote)it might be something to consider here to help with this situation. I will be at Sunmit teaching during pre-conf training so if you are there feel free to loo...

Re: S_fid BrandonKern-6Rh - Adobe Analytics
What version of H code are you using?s_fid is the fall back solution when s_vi can not be set. The situaion that is most common is due to locking occurring.s_fid and s_vi, while not exactly interchangeable are still used as the u Kaur identifier for the row of data. So moving forward when you implement s_vi or ECID, etc it will still count the rows as unique rows and data would not have been lost. The new tracker will take the place of s_fid for users where it is currently set. ECID or s_vi will...

Re: How to login into Data Workbench - blank screen BrandonKern-6Rh - Adobe Analytics
If you used the installer your insight.cfg will be located at C:\user\YOURUSERNAME\AppData (you will either need to unhide folders to see app data or you can just type it in your address bar) \local\Analytics\Adobe Analytics\Data Workbench\insight.cfg.If you can open that in notepad and upload it i can troubleshoot further. As far as "linking", Data Workbench loads in files from data feeds or flat files. You will need to have an architect set up your implementation if this has not been done. Did ...

JohnIn your screenshot it doesn't show that you have a RS selected. The feeds will be unique to each RS. This is one of those questions like when people have computer problems and they are asked if they have it plugged in so I apologize, but did you select a RS prior to trying to add a feed?Brandon

Not sure if your company has this but Data Workbench has this built in. If you are looking to do advanced analytics and dive deeper into pieces that Analytics can't provide, Data Workbench is something I would highly recommend.
