Adobe Analytics AEM Config

Avatar

Level 2

I'm trying to connect my Adobe Analytics account to AEM 6.1 and I've followed the guide at: http://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-1/administer/integration/marketing-cloud/sitecatalyst/sc-connect...

However, I'm getting the message: "We were not able to login to Analytics. Please check your credentials and try again."

Is there anything else I can investigate to why I'm not able to connect? Any common gotchas that I'm missing as I'm new to this integration?

Note, on a lot of points this guide above (http://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-1/administer/integration/marketing-cloud/sitecatalyst/sc-connect...appears to be out of date as it refers to Site Catalyst, the OSGi config and Cloud Service config options have changed.

Thanks

That integration interface is very old - it likely isn't logging you in because at the time when it was created, I don't think the London data center existed.

Instead of using that integration there, I would recommend using DTM - place the embed code in the header and footer on your site, then use the DTM interface to establish rules and data elements to assign to Analytics variables. See this help page for more information: https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/dtm/deployment.html

Additionally, we will be running an Ask the Expert session on October 27th at 9AM MDT covering this exact topic. The session will be held at https://communities.adobeconnect.com/aemtech/.
